  1. Like the back and shoulders.
  2. Great, thanks.
  3. This is worrying. Did you contact/sent the club an email about it? That way the powers that be can act on it immediately.
  4. Hayley, you are bursting my bubble here.....
  5. So what would the minimum salary be, for two people to survive? Auckland based. We are not frivolous, and are used to living sparingly. I provisionally qualify under the following categories, but must still start the process formally. This I will do after the my seminar / appointment with the NZ Shores agency on 08/08/2019, and I have more clarity about the process. 1. The Skilled Migrant Category 2. The Work to Residence Category 3. The Essential Skills Work Visa Category What I can gather from my online research, is that I must / should get employment with a minimum salary of NZ$ 39.75 an hour, which to my mind sounds like a decent wage in NZ terms. Or am I mistaken?
  6. My question exactly. I heard Europeans/Americans complains about cost of living there, thought it is just because they are so used to get things on the cheap. I can understand it is an Island, so getting things there is going to cost (Australia is a 3hr flight), but is it really that expensive?
  7. Was not that much in any case (and a part of it was spent on her car.....)
  8. Same here, and money spent already.
  9. Filing done, now the wait begins. Only a couple of thousand Rands, but it will be used to offset the costs for my NZ Immigration process. Strangely it shows my 2017 filing to be outstanding on the main page, but I got my few Randelas refund for 2017.

    Rugby...

And Peyper did his best to assist the 'Saders. Just compare the penalty count in the 2nd half. Most of the 'Saders blatant transgressions went unpunished. One was right infront of the ref. Jaguares was on the attack, the ball went to ground and a mall/ruck ensued. Think it was no. 22 of the that Saders fell over the ball from a side entry, made no effort to roll away, thus sealing the ball. Outcome was Saders ball, Saders cleared the ball from the scrum with a long sideline punt, scoring chance for Jaguares lost. But, at the end of the game, the Saders was the better team, and deserved their win.

I have the CZ83, what a stunning little compact (9mm short). Quite accurate too. With it's 12+1 carrying capacity, no need to lug an extra magazine around. Easy to conceal carry also. Sadly, I think it has been discontinued a few years back. http://fromthefrontsight.blogspot.com/2013/05/review-of-cz-83.html
  12. I went for my 50cc Learners the day I turned 16 (only way I was allowed to ride outside of the yard) and my permanent two months later. It was my ticket to "freedom"
  13. Did the Klipheuwel trail on Saturday morning, trails was in good condition, considering all the rain that fell over the last week. Only two spots was muddy, the one where you cross the A-Frame was not avoidable. Quite a few chaps was standing ankle deep in mud there. Guys, just a word of advise from a pleb, when you get to muddy sections like that, do not try to power your way through, go into a light as possible gear, try and keep your momentum and spin it through. On my way back to Spes Bona, there was about 8 guys standing in the mud, shouting warnings to me to get off and push through. They must have thought me crazy when I ignored them, and to be a pro when I just chose a line and spinned my way through the muck (mud and I'm sure a good deal of cow poop too as the cows were milling around there.....)

Me thinks he is trying too hard, a bit on the ragged edge. Not sure what happened with his fall/collision, they did not show too much of it. Brilliant race nonetheless.
  15. Wonder if I can have it delivered to my "home branch". That would save me the schlep to trundle to Canal walk for a 2nd time.
  16. Luckily I'm with Standard Bank, and saw it is at Canal Walk branch only. Will do the application tonite, when I have my expired passport at hand, just in case they need the old number.
  17. Not sure if this has been discussed before. Who else has made use of this service, to register online, pay online to your Bank, and then go into the branch to do electronic application? Is it an easy process, and how long did the applications take? I had a look at the online entry form, and it does look straight forward, question I have is, can we do do both on one application, or does it need to be done separately? I need to renew my expired passport, and do application for the wife for her first passport.
  18. Intern and Patches. Thanks for the info, and yes, I will be engaging with a Consultant. Waiting on the costs from a few, as we speak. Got a seminar/meeting with New Zealand Shores on 08 Aug, here in Cape Town, to discuss the way forward. Edit: Cushman & Wakefield is currently the FM company where I work, but I am not employed by them directly, I work for a service provider.
  19. Where would be the best place be to try and find employment in the Contract Management (cleaning sector) or Facilities Management fields? I heard Auckland is crazy expensive, but I would prefer to be based as far north as possible, so the South Island would not be my first choice? My prelim eligibility assessment gives me 175 points, with "Job Offer (50)" and "Job offer offer outside of Auckland (30)" included. What does this mean, do I get an extra 30 points for an offer outside of Auckland?
  20. Not good news.
  21. Fitted my Satori on Saturday, will give it a proper testing this coming weekend on the Tygerberg Trails.

Why, because he had one bad race? I will remember him for the 39 year old, on a fairly un-competitive bike, that took the fight to guys many years his junior, and still manages to beat the majority of them race after race.

The "Old Man" showed he also has the reflexes/ability to save an imminent front end loss. Big difference between him and MM is that id flustered him like hell and he lost momentum, whereas MM seems to live on the adrenaline and just goes faster afterwards.
