  1. yeh, not the plumber entry talking about the step about mid way down i can't remember exactly where it is. the plumber entry drop has had the boards burnt so its got a bit of more spice now
  2. Sounds legit, would probably like to road trip (drive) it though...
  3. good luck with them i see there's been some action on the plumber entry this weekend... seen on instagram i haven't ridden plumber since after the fires, and the step up was my biggest fear riding there. i don't ride iron monkey enough but wandered down there alone the other day "blind" also need to come to terms with those drops... again if they faster/smoother on race run i guess...
  4. whens it? https://www.detourtrails.co.za/tours-and-adventures/lesotho-mega-enduro/ the link i googled said it was already?
  5. Entered! In other words training started today ๐Ÿฅด๐Ÿ˜‚
  6. Yolo... I rode Jonkershoek today! Started cramping only did Armageddon 6 down and full Red Phoenix. Last i rode was Witfontein and today was my first ride after a chest infection. If it's not hot on race day and atleast 2 rides a week till the big show i reckon it'll be manageable. I missed all the previous Jonkershoek Enduros either being sick or not in town... Hoping the stars align for this one
  7. The rise in your bars is quite high too isn't it, so it'll pass here i guess
  8. Harold do you evens ride a bike that doesn't have a moto?

  11. Well done @Christofison that was amazing. The hardest (gnarliest) riding I've done in a long time... The conditions I'm sure did play an interesting role... Love every second of it! I had a huge OTB at SS2 and then when down completely off at SS3 about 6 meters down with my bars about 20cm deep it the loam. I did not expect the steepness wow, those rocks over camber then the sloppy snotty ness of the rain the night before... We were bound for a wild wild ride. Managed to pull myself together and stay on the bike for SS4 and SS5. Must be said, trails are gnarly cool, riding them blind super cool, then racing them for bragging rights over your mates... Un flippen believable. I can't believe i haven't ridden these trails before... Unbelievable... You and your team has done a goodie!!! Body is sore, ego is shattered, rock and roller deeply ingrained into my top tube and fork lowers (bike ready for a brand new condition in the classifieds) Last pic me getting pulled out by the spectators "Oom is oom ok?!" Smiling from ear to ear, kicking myself i didn't ride these in years before... Here's to years to come
  12. Haha snap. I smashed my right one some time ago, bought a set of DX pedals with the intention of swapping out the axle... still haven't got around to it. Mine is however the clipless saint's but the axle's are the same there are axles are sites like ebay and amazon, but they range from R500-700 which is too rich for me, the DX pedals were R350 here off bikehub
