Slight off topic, didn't necessarily want to start a new topic... So I've seen a stages in the classifieds with a description that it works 100% but battery only lasts a few rides... So I've had 2 crank arms now, I've used them that did the same thing... one i actually sent to Omnico and according them it was as if it was pulsing looking for connection and such a battery drain... from the reading I've done apparently this is a known issue... and that if within warranty it's a replacement otherwise suck it up buttercup... Anyone tried to or knew someone who's that technically inclined that are able to revive them? The work around so far is after every ride remove the battery, but admin AF

What might of been easier is to remove the board and then out of nowhere a marshal will appear tell him you didn't pay and they'll gladly escort you off the mountain ...sorry to hear about your ordeal, do keep ER24 number anyway and call them. Think that's an older post incident, ie wasn't this morning i was a lone ranger on table mountain this mountain. Saw a few runners at Rhodes mem side but vredehoek side is dead quiet. This afternoon should be interesting... Yesterday SANParks was stationed in a view point not easily see able above where this "hotspot" is.

I'm on the fence, I've putting in a lot of mileage so my fitness is not bad, hence probably why I'm on the fence. Otherwise I'd probably lean to the majority of views a XCO event with downs timed. I was fortunate to get to most of the stages without any major lines, infact at SS4 i was the only one there and has been for atleast 5 minutes... i was done at around 10:15 The heat was the heat can't be much debated here, just that doing any event in Paarl from November to March is not gonna be the smartest idea. The stages i thought was a bit a silly, SS1 could of maybe finished 3 minutes before it did. Added to the sillyness of it was the 600m climb to that point. SS2 the same, was pedally and could of ended maybe a few 100m earlier. It'll be interesting to see number of starters vs finishes. Another perception i have was EnduroWC seemed to have dropped the ball a bit with this one, the marketing (social media) in particular was way way off compared to the Jonkershoek Enduro. Probably the only reason i managed to find myself in the top 20 was because nobody actually knew this race was happening... Having said that, maybe with 20-30 newbies who have bought into it and those who from previous Enduro's for next year the series is going to be good/well attended in my view.

everytime for me... i sold a fork and plus wheels recently in both cases i told the buyer to please allow me 2-3 days to get box's. then once boxed i sent them photos, dimensions and my address and told them to arrange their own courier with xoc as my recommendation. within 2-3 days their parcels were at their door. while i agreed i needed to get the box and box it, well then this what i expect when i put it up for sale... otherwise the ad should state no postage collection only
