Going in Style (2017) 6/10. Great actors, predictable story, underwhelming director. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon, because you can fall asleep watching it without a worry since you won't care about missing anything.

I think I made it through 3 (maybe 4) seasons of Suits before I decided there was no point in watching it anymore. It's not that it's bad - it's just that it has become so predictable. And I found myself caring about the characters less and less each new season.

The Mummy (2017) 5/10. Completely mediocre and utterly forgettable.

Agree he's a better puncher. But I watched Mayweather's last fight and he has a dozen tricks, honed in the ring, to prevent those punches from landing. He doesn't care about looking good, he just cares about winning.

My money is on Mayweather. Better boxer, and more experience in outsmarting his opponents.

No. It was suggested to me (here on Bike Hub, iirc) after I watched Band of Brothers and praised it, but I couldn't get into it. It felt too similar and since BoB is quite hard and dramatic to watch I felt I needed a break.

Alien Oven Can't (2017) My score - 5/10. Pretty special effects - terrible writing and the dumbest characters ever to helm a spaceship. Seriously, each and every one of them at one time or another seemed to be a contestant for a Darwin Award. Quite frankly, shortly after they landed I started cheering for the alien. These characters were too stupid to live and expand the gene pool. A mediocre film at best and a disappointing addition to the franchise.

Finished watching The West Wing (all seven seasons) for the second time last night. Obviously, I'm an Aaron Sorkin fan, so I'm not completely objective, but still one of the most entertaining TV series ever made, imo. Great (huge!) cast, excellent writing, fascinating characters and relevant topics makes for a great show. And watching it now, with the current White House to compare it to, is sometimes so ironic that it borders on the absurd. Can't recommend it strongly enough. Thumbs up to John Wells, by the way, who did a fantastic job taking over from Sorkin for the last three seasons.
