  2. For Gen's son (and anybody else who might be interested in Anime) I've compiled my Top Ten Favourite list of Anime Shows. I prefer my anime (like all my entertainment, including movies, series and books) to have a blend of action and humour. Therefore, these are my own, personal Top Ten Favourites. I've ranked according to the My Anime List database, including the MAL scores for reference. 1. Hunter X Hunter (2011) My Score 9/10 MAL Score 9.12 2. Haikyuu!! (2014) My Score 9/10 MAL Score 8.91 (2nd Season) 3. Hajime no Ippo (2000) My Score 9/10 MAL Score 8.82 4. Kuroko no Basket (2012) My Score 9/10 MAL Score 8.59 (3rd Season) 5. Shokugeki no Souma (2015) My Score 9/10 MAL Score 8.58 6. Bakemono no Ko (2015) My Score 9/10 MAL Score 8.55 (Movie) 7. One Outs (2008) My Score 9/10 MAL Score 8.4 8. Nanatsu no Taizai (2014) My Score 9/10 MAL Score 8.36 9. Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi (2006) My Score 9/10 MAL Score 8.24 10. Overlord (2015) My Score 9/10 MAL Score 8.04
  3. It really depends on what genres you like. My list probably won't be the same as your list. My best suggestion is pick a movie you enjoyed and go look up the director and the writers on IMDB to see what else they made.
  4. Watched the first episode of Cleverman last night. Not the most lighthearted story I've ever seen, but definitely not boring. Somewhat low budget (especially the editing is a bit choppy) but it reminded me a bit of Neill Blomkamp's District 9 (without the Wikus humour). Rotten Tomatoes info: "Set in the near future, "Cleverman" is a startlingly original drama rooted in Aboriginal mythology. The series depicts a deeply conflicted and anxious society, fearful of a minority group living among them, endowed with extraordinary physical traits." Will probably try another few episodes before I make up my mind.
  5. Taboo is freaking awesome. Tom Hardy is a total bad-ass.
  6. Now, that's not really true, is it, sir? Your original statement was: "I'm glad so many of you people like these sort of girls..' In other words, you, not us, are the one who generalised, so accusing us of generalisation seems somewhat... disingenuous, wouldn't you agree? ????
  7. Wanted to post Ziggy Marley's Give a Little Love - then found all the YouTube videos banned from our country. Think that's a message? Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  8. That's your idea of a tattoo?
  9. Ah, okay - I'm really bad with images, photos, things like that. Even as a kid I used to read comics more for the stories than the art. It's pretty easy to fool me visually - especially if there is a pretty girl to distract me
  10. I believe that is the original. The photoshop was the one where they erased the tattoo for the cover of the magazine. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/04/11/article-0-128D8D6A000005DC-38_634x790.jpg This is actually what she looks like with both tattoos. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/04/11/article-2128365-128D858B000005DC-279_634x421.jpg Article here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2128365/Photoshop-victim-Megan-Foxs-tattoo-airbrushed-magazine-cover-picture.html
  11. By "these sort of girls" you mean girls with tattoos? I will be delighted to take that deal. http://i.imgur.com/SB8kd9a.jpg
  12. Depends on what you've seen. Vikings, Daredevil, Justified, Westworld, The Newsroom, Monday Mornings, Southland, West Wing are all great series. You can go even older and watch Boston Legal.
  13. "Gratias tibi ago, domine. Haec credam a deo pio? A deo iusto, a deo scito? Cruciatus in crucem. Tuus in terra servus, nuntius fui. Officium perfeci. Cruciatus in crucem. Eas in crucem!" http://i.imgur.com/rigsSsM.jpg One of my favourite scenes from one of my favourite episodes from one of my favourite TV series, The West Wing.

  19. The World's Fastest Indian (2005) 8/10. "For 25 years in Invercargill at the south end of New Zealand, Burt Munro (1899-1978) has been working on increasing the speed of his motorcycle, a 1920 Indian. He dreams of taking it to the Bonneville Salt Flats to see how fast it will go..." I loved this movie. Sir Anthony Hopkins is superb, as always, and the story is quite simply incredible, and fascinating to watch.
  20. Yeah, I have to say, I struggle to finish one of their normal burgers & chips in just one sitting (it's incredible value for money), so I'm pretty sure I won't be able to finish that monster in one go. http://i.imgur.com/EZvywD9.jpg
