  1. Nino for me. Besides the fact he has been utterly unbeatable for ten years and the numerous titles he is the omly person on the list capable of winning all 4 diciplines. He could eaily win XC a Marathon , his Enduro skills are next level and im pretty sure he aint shabby on a 200mm DH rig. His skills, fitness and vesatility hard to beat
  2. I have been running in Gt2000 for over 30 years. Think they were called GT 2120 or 2170 or soemthing like that. I heavily pronate and need a stability shoe. . I do about 3 x 10km a week also not very fast . I always think i want another lighter faster sexier shoe as i swear i feel like i get slower with every run. but im old now so who cares. Never been injured so as they say if it aint broke dont fix it.
  3. Guys just stumbled on this thread. I have bought a 2016 F800GS and i am loving th ebike. Only issue as i have is the wheels are tubed. Are there no ways i can make them tubless? Does anyone know of companies thats ell tubeless rims or convert rims to tubeless? I have been told that due to the flexi nature of the spokes that they will puncture the rim tape so this is why peeps dont convert. I really do not want to think of tubes when im in the middle of the tankwa
  4. My mates on scalpels also struggled. Been telling them for years to get trail bikes.

  6. Great build almost identical to mine but tryes 2.4 not 2.6?
  7. Wow he absolutetly monstered Gaethje. He is just so much better than anbody else. Well done Kabib you truly are the GOAT.
  8. Its is strange and hard to explain the difference. They just make the bike feel more poppy more responsive.
  9. I had the bontragers pro elite 30 . The weight is similair probably about 100g heavier. Tyres are the same.
  10. Bought the Amps 3 weeks ago . They are very very nice. The hubs great and the wheels have stood up to quite a beating so far. My first ever set of carbon hoops but BS aside i can feel they just roll better especialy out of corners. the acceleartion is markedly differrent to ALu.

  18. Thanks Cap, it came in quite low budget as most of the parts were transferred from my trail bike. Yip its a SB Slade trail frame
  19. Those chains are used by guys who cycle around continents . Can do like 80 000 km on them with zero maintenance
  20. Is that the internal gearbox thingamijig! I’ve Heard it’s the future?
  21. Wow very similair builds i see you also when the raw alu look. Im really loving this bike . I find the 2.6 recon actually grips pretty well and the xr2 on the back rolls very well for such a big tyre.
  22. Ok after a few hiccups in trying to source some weird parts that nobody seems to have i have finally managed to get the build done. Behold the HAMMERHEAD 2.0. hammerhead 1.0 was built a few years ago that was a light carbon HT. The 2.0 is a agressive HT. The actual HH image was sandblasted on the frame thanks to Jarred at BMC. A bit of background. I have basically upgraded my DS bike with new parts so i have transferred the wheels, handlebar , and other bits to this project. The frame is/was a ????? (take a guess) that i have stripped to get the raw aluminium look. This has a number of advantages besides looking cool. Mainly the fact It cannot get scratched , marked or scuffed as i just need to buff it out. So this is a true war machine. Fork : Fox 34 Rythm 140mm travel Wheels: Bontranger 30mm internal elite 30 Dropper: Lyne 150mm Handlebar carbon bontranger with 35mm stem SLX brakes, shifter and derailer Tyres 2.6 recon Front and Bontranger XR2 2.6 rear All in including pedals and lots of sealant for the fat rubber she came in at 12.8 kg Took it out this morning for her virgin ride. Rode very rocky and technical stuff on signal hill and table mountain. She was fun, fast and a lot more capable than i ever thought a HT could be.
