Then explain to me how i did the w2w each day took me 5 hrs plus on no food nudda whatsoever? I also did grape escape 5-6hrs a day on no food nudda? Did the Argus on 1 bottle of 32gi and some chews again not a bite nothing. Did 70km elsefontein took me 4 40 did not eat a thing. This coming from someone who coul;dnt ride more than 3 hrs without bonking. So if its all in my mind then so be it. Of not then this all the proof i need.

White shoes are extremely uncool. bar ends are great when climbing and suck when going on tight singletrack, they should invent some that can just click off when u done with the climb, then put them in your shirt pocket when the next climb comes click them back on.

I did here about the 33er but my sources say the bike manufactures want to wait with that format firstly to get people to actually buy the 31er and once they go that route then naturally the 33er will follow. Thereby keeping sales rolling along (excuse the pun)

Im getting the new 31er.....This format is about to turn the MTb world on its head apparently THEY say its the perfect wheel size for MTbikes as the 26 and 29 experiments have proved they both not ideal. Specialized, Giant, Trek etc are all working hard on the new generation 2012 31ers !!! word on the street is they will be launched in 6 months or so once old 29er stock is cleared.

Well if you look at the classifieds i think this point has merit. There are amazing deals on 26 in bikes that were not around a year ago. You can now pick up a good quality 1 or 2 year old FS 26er for 12k. These are bikes that retailed for 22k now cant be given away. So if u in the mkt for a 26er now is a great time. In 2 years time when the 27,5 becomes the rage 29ers will be going cheap...

Is this 27.5 story actually going to happen or is it a bit of a old wives tale?? Or maybe they waiting for the sales of 29ers to slow and soon as that happens BAM time to get 27.5 as they are so much better faster etc etc

2.4 mill is nothing when you are securing the safety of south africas most popular tourist attraction. The damages and bad PR of 1 or 2 tourists going home after being attacked on the Mtn will costs SA a lot more than 2 mill in the long run. Unfortunatly the veld in JHB doesnt warrant the same interest.

So far its a toss up between the Cruz tallboy and the Rockstar. The superfly is to expensive and blingy. How much is a Rockstar?? The frame design on the Titus looks rock solid and the geometry looks good not as nerdy as some 29ers

They should test the 2 bikes eg a 26 anthem v 29 anthem through the Jonkershoek singletarck up and down. Then do a jeep track test over say 25km distance. Say use 5 riders 10 bikes (5 x 26 and 5 x 29) Maybe then we could get some clarity

i used to own an Anthem and then i got a trance. for me the Trance is much better at handling the rough stuff, the ride position is way more comfy and it handles drop offs way better. ITS ONLY THE CLIMBS THAT THE ANTHEM IS BETTER AND NOT BY MUCH.

Get a Trance that will solve your problem its as strong as the reign and as light as an anthem
