Great race.... flat and fast..... not full road closure, but roads are good..... you will enjoy it

Morning all, doing this race for the first time this year.....nice that it falls over a long weekend too ...... your thoughts on the race guys.... did Amashova last year and enjoyed it... comparisons maybe for those that know??

This race is a no brainer............ great ride... awesome views in the mountains....... don't for 1 minute think it's downhill to Durbs...... was my first last year.... won't miss it!

Sorry if covered before, but cant seem to find on CTCT page...... can someone else collect my number etc? There is mention that you must take your Racetec chip with you? 94.7 was pretty much easy as long as you had the barcode of the other person..... is CTCT same? Share some info please okes?

Morning all....first time CTCT ..... will 1G get close to 3hours? Assuming weather plays it's part?

Went to collect a few numbers...... all quick and easy! They checked all licences were in order..... even went online and checked VB license. Just so far to collect - but let's not go there..... and Dischem - shot on the goodie bag - looks pretty awesome....always good to get something...know they have a lot of suppliers they can tap, but shot on the effort....

I'm with you here mate...... that guy on the bike was awesome.....poor guy spent hours waving his arms frantically. As for the wheel suckers - guess that's how they roll ...... wasn't that bad up front...... they should try it one day.... glad you ok buddy..... that poor guy up on the railing looked bad...... and the sound???? Yoh! Here's hoping the organizer takes notice of the short falls. Having said that parking, toilets etc was a breeze, so big up there

Morning bikers - my first ride in the AL group as have only been riding since April last year..... I must say...what an eye opener....... and here I thought the biking bunch were a friendly gang! Yoh... I've never heard okes kaking each other out so often ...... for those who made some idle chat..... thumbs up.. was pleasure meeting and riding with you! ​As for the roads.... the organizer should be embarrassed........ so many broken bikes? I'm not sure how it works, but surely someone approves the route? I know our roads are a mess.....but to just fill the holes on Saturday with even compacted sand I'm sure would have helped? In the bunch that big not sure any amounts of paint etc would have helped? You hear the odd shout, but with the holes being all over the road, never knew exactly where? As for that poor girl standing in the road.... who made that call?? eish..... ​Guys what are we thinking as cyclists? Overtaking on the left, all over the road, etc etc.... was crazy..... the sound of that accident next to me at the finish...... terrible.... hope the guys are ok? To the wheel suckers for 94km's and then sprinting to finish 1 second ahead.... well done great result..... I'm happy to say I spent many km's in front with a few others.....thank guys that was awesome........ ​Overall - very jittery ride - dangerous and wondering if its worth it? ​Mixed feelings on this one I'm afraid..........

Hi all, does anyone received info on start times etc...... webpage is very brief... makes mention of mid Jan? I've not received anything? Has anyone heard anything? ​Eish wish there was a number collection on the East Rand?...... Will have to do the morning thing....

Morning all... just wondering... stopped and helped a rider who crashed on Friday down the hill 14km into SBR... was riding a Merida. Sorry cant remember his name..... if anyone knows him or off the crash, just checking to see if he's ok.... was pretty much bashed up..... those downhills at pace can be hectic..... not to mention the barrier the poor guy hit. ​Hope he's ok.
