I believe CSA will only list coaches that currently have active coaching licenses. I am certain there are alot more unlicensed coaches in the country with UCI certificates. People should encourage their coaches to go through the admin of getting their license with CSA as then the federation is able to act on allegations such as this very case. It would also ease my mind to approach a new coach that has gone through the vetting process (Safeguard checks, police clearance and CSA approval).

Hats off to everyone that crossed the finish line. That was a tough course. Also found the chalk lines a bit confusing at speed and not being first wheel often found myself rattling through rocks. Overall a tough race, probably not one i will likely spend R800 in the future to do again. Coming into the finish line mid pack with every thing pretty much packed away was quite disappointing. Then to have ridden the 135km + ,only receive a mediocre burger and scrap of chips, not even a medal/ribbon for the accomplishment. Water points were at least very well stocked from what i saw going past.

Hey Hubbers. Anyone had experience shipping a bicycle from London to Cape Town? Busy acquiring a bicycle from a friend and needing to get it back over to SA.
