Gonna get the new keo blades from my LBS for R2000. That'll drop the weight. Wish I could ride tubbies, but don't like not being able to fix a puncture on the side of the road.
Have a friend who works in a PC shop. And they've got the gadgets that pick up frequencies. Will take it there and see if we even get a blip on the machine. Gotta be scientific ya know.
Why don't the guys at bicycling road test bikes for themselves much like a car magazine? Compare a Dogma to a scott adicct. Try different wheelssets. Then ask us for feed back if we own the same wheelsets. Could be done 3 months in advance
Ha ha bring it!!!! My roadbike is around 7kg and I'm 96kg. Never had one problem so far. But I imagine a carbon mtb with all the abuse it takes maybe 2 years if you're lucky.
I'm a roadie and alays thought MTB was safer. It is from a car perspective, but not so much when you're out on a trail with no chance of a car coming past and someone attacks you. Just glad Julian came through it ok.
I used to look forward to it every month. Now it's a 10 minute read at most and it gets chucked onto the coffee table. Not the most exciting read ever. Pity I'm subscribed.
Yeah I agree ride that bike until it's to slow for you, and then upgrade to a whole new bike. Then sell yours on the hub to a grateful MTBer who wants to get into riding.
