Since there are a few of us (brave and very fit and maybe not so bright) Hubbers doing IronMan this year... on request let's get together at the race brief on the Friday evening (8 April). Then we can sit at the same table and enjoy the free pasta on offer The idea is to meet at the entrance 15minutes before race briefing, and to move from there. Let me know your thoughts - and who is all keen...

In all likelihood I won't be organizing one - spending the weekend with family in PE, think it's only the right thing to do as they'll be standing next to the road for 10hours or (hopefully) a bit more cheering us on on the Sunday... But maybe we should all share a table at the pasta party and race briefing on the Friday eve in Coega? Let me know your thoughts...

Wow - so he has a top 5 place at the worlds, and seems like he is struggling to get a bike sponsor... that's sad in a way

Well depends on your general fitness... can't expect a newbie to suddenly start out doing 150kms +++... I know a guy who have raced (and won the Giro del Capo - and is now a D.S for MTN), he seldom did that kind of mileage... 150 seems a bit much Quality > Quantity

Isn't this the same stuff that was found in the car of daddy to Frank and Andy Schlenk a few years ago... no one could prove they took anything... and we all think they are so squeaky clean...

Yip - so if you are standing on the drive train side of the bike, the "niner" would be facing you correct way up...

Have 2 mates who had FSA cranks fail on them, and claiming the warrantee was a biatch... the usual dodging blaming "it's not our fault" tactics by the distributors

Definitely not the shifter...

When we were looking at it on Saturday eve - when you shift onto the big blade the chain rams against the inside of the big blade, and doesn't seem to slide nicely from small to big blade... played around with the height and angle of the fd... but there is this sickening screaching sound when shifting onto the big blade... Airbender is running cannondale hollogram cranks and chainrings (but I don't think that is the problem).

Andrag sounds good to me - everyone must know where that is, and it's nice and central... So when do we start?

If i do a double next year I'll give you a push up the climbs so that you don't feel so left out...
