Ah the hill of friends...this is where the work happens...up and down...lovely cool am...let's roll again tomorrow...

It was an unexpected visit but a great bunch...

Well a small mechanical issue needed attention from the lads in Kings Cycles ( Worcester) and many thanks to them...got a decent ride in afterwards ....but well I needed a coffee...

The morning after...just before thunder and rain...

A tale of two days...yesterday's wind to the coolness of the today's morning...delightful long ride...great to see plenty cyclists out ..

Today was a day....the wind....the route that was planned...made it backwards...forgotten how the wind can be hard work...but the sun...glorious..more tomorrow...

the early morning call...trying to get used to the wonderful temps...morning only...

Well it's great to be back...out early am...the body can feel the heat...wonderful

The last long ride before Cape Town....oh it was cold...the toes were feeling it....but the personal vibes were good....the legs not wonderful but it's always great fun....better than sitting indoors anytime...

The blue sky appeared this morning..sun was actually shining...and no rain...its was actually a nice day....legs meandering and taking time to kick in...but its worth every moment of the fun work...roll on next weekend....

the bike is back out....recent illness did the legs no favours...but I will be delighted to see a blue sky and a summer....the winter has been long and muddy....very muddy but its still great fun and a bike ride puts a smile on your face

the quiet bike ride...made it easy....last 24hrs felt under the weather but a bike ride can have healing qualities...would be good to see a blue sky....

Lost the mojo to do more than 90mins on the bike this weekend....I can blame the 6 nations rugby and a few trips to the pub...maybe will get a ride in mid-week...

mid-week lack of bike and organised exercise blues....you pop into a bike shop and the bikes make you tick...

oh mind-blowing

another dull grey day...but getting out on a bike is still the best day of the week...hope I am doing enough for the Cape Town Tour....the road bike hasn't been touched in an age...the road conditions and aggressive traffic doesn't lend itself to a good morning out...roll on a bit of sunshine soon...

...how beautiful South Africa is...and its people...

you just know you feel a bit older when you like the morning bike rides rather than meandering for a few pints post work on a Friday night ....the bike bliss moment....frosty ground meant the usual trails gripped well...a fair bit of mud around....who needs a gym membership? 😀
