Autumn is here...and we had rain...lovely ride today ...and a rugby game...

Will be there hopefully in March 23....I am riding it ! My favourite riding place ..

Back on a bike for the first time in a while...that bug...injury etc...job. etc etc..

was great to see...nearly as good as Sam Bennett also winning last week...

don't worry the northern hemisphere is no better at times....its not...we have the worst of everything at times

brands will tell you its an upgrade....its all about sell sell....thats a great thing about SA cycling...they also want value....

when I was coming back into SA...I always compared prices...SA has been always been a bit more for parts etc...but having some Ciovita kit...I think it was worth it...the balance of getting affordable cycling kit v expensive in SA has always been tricky...but prices as you said...the supply and demand factor...as a rule SA has been limited by choice...its a balance...

the cost of cycling oriented materials etc...be they spare parts and clothing etc has gone higher and higher.....most brands and sites are appearing to go for the top end of the market here...but they're is stock at lower price levels because people don't have the money to spend....things are tight up here in the northern hemisphere as well...

this has been of one of the better tours to watch...intrigue everyday....great aggressive racing...

Movistar need a genuine GC contender....

injuries take time to heal...they stop us cycling....we will be back...having a frustrating injury issue myself....soul taking at times....

Cavendish knew he would struggle to get into the tour team earlier in the year....also no Alaphilppe ...French champion also as a reserve....no Sam Bennett....not on form being honest...another season struggle...

The sat afternoon ride was sadly interrupted by a member of the anti-cycling committee around here ...carrying a chainsaw ...saddening attitude...but a bike ride we had ...the Sunday hour was much more pleasant 😌

perfect race for Cannondale....

two choices sometimes...sit in front of the tv( Flanders ) or get on the bike and go....the go moments were worth it...finding a few more paths and trails for a decent bike ride ...and even decided to have a little slow slide tumble in some chalk surface...all good fun...and its been a while since I said that...

great race.....MvDP is one cool customer....experience is now on his side....roll on the next weeks...best time of the road cycling season

as the spring struggles to take over in the northern hemisphere....the winter winds...the sun that appears....you become grateful for this...the lure of a road bike is absent ....the mtb is still your no1 bike...the urban mtb is a cross between roads and riding to find a forest or other paths...well tomorrow we ride again...

its more tougher than we can imagine....hope the test come back ok....be guided by the medics...thanks for the honest race update...

mvdl I feel won't have form after his injury....a bit early....will wait I think for Paris-roubaix....but Wout and Pogacar at Flanders will be exciting.....
