ah the mid-term break here in the UK...grab the cycling moment when you can....amongst the wind and rain...too much mud but better than playing roulette in the crazy traffic...yes its crazy....and its all a bit grey...

the urban hunt for a route that gives you off road satisfaction is continuing...this city.....too much traffic...the exploring is continuing......road bike will have to wait...could so with some summer...but easy cycling weather..still good to be getting into a cycling rhythm....

Always worth the effort and for that sunshine and views...swap you ? great to see you are out on a bike again

the bike is back...sadly had to move back into the UK...no sunshine at this time of year...first time out this morning after about 9 months without this bike...local woods will have to do for a start..and of course winter mud....

Tucker is worthwhile listening to....sensible and informative..

experienced trainers/coaches will be learning about this and the body responses for a while yet....its going to make for interesting case studies..and for the everyday recreational rider....stay safe all....

Bennett is a confidence rider....not as natural as Cavendish whose performances on this years tour for me was about a good team working for him...and thats is great strength... Padun....interesting...why didn't Bahrain see his talent and harness it..? Hirshi...needs a good season in 2022...its all about consistency....all the mentioned need to have that to a degree....its harder to do I am sure than sitting here writing this...all great riders to watch and enjoy

this is a sad day for African cycling to a large degree...in their previous guise as MTM ...Remembering seeing the team doing two runs over Bainskloof...with Impey riding etc but the happiness of one of their dropped riders in the peloton...smiling and waving at my daughter...will miss them.. the last few years have been a struggle but they have given great memories ...great memories on the Tour et al...
