the day of mud....sliding....a bit more sliding...a rogue branch...a soft landing...and time to wash the bike is now ...but great fun...

not really envious of the southern summer heat and beer .....of course I am...today was about not going crazy on the brakes....mud and leaves...you can't see the roots...oh its great fun..sometimes the best part of the weekend ...

rain...rain....in an office...the bikes under wraps...and the turbo trainer....wrapped up...a busy week otherwise...roll on the weekend ride time...

When the time is there for a bike ride...good weekend of bike riding....

take me to the autumns days and the dirty leaves....blessed with a stunning afternoon...well it beats sitting indoors...

Well it's been raining here all weekend...a small gap ...a bit of a peaking sun...and then it rained again...an hour is better than nothing...and the bike needs a service ...

as we have now thunder and lightning....a bit of a small storm moment ....got out earlier ...so happy I did...a few slides here and there....yes the rain is here...

did a bike ride today...2hrs...gentle.....nice

know the pass well...cant wait until march 2023 to be back there...god willing...and the pass looks smooth and fast...great ride

Could do a bit better when it comes to the sunshine....but a better vibe than yesterday...always have a smile on your face when you get on a bike...

Shimano mM520 etc are an excellent budget choice....never had any hassle with pedals like this over the last 20 years or so....flawless so far

in a good riding place yesterday...nice to be out on a bike....autumn sun makes the lines a bit tricky...but it was fun...

flight booked for the cape.....best get some winter miles in soon...

then again if a sponsor can afford to pay maybe appearance money well thats their model..the cape town tour has a strong and visible charity element...and its smack in the euro season etc..

Better than watching football ...quick evening spin...beautiful evening ...could do this everyday

the local loop sometimes rides better in a different direction....only for having time....its a total saviour..legs were heavy...then hour 2 totally different.....out again tomorrow...lets hope the weather holds...the dark evenings are arriving earlier sadly...

so ends a weeks leave....cycling has been a massive help recently...so glad I am able to have even a bit of time to get out into nature...a bit of peace and quiet and away from the urban jungle for a bit..and found a new coffee stop....

being an international entry with flights....then it really becomes expensive....I hope the wind doesn't blow as before...

the train came handy today...20 mins...new ride area....good to have a bit of time....wonderful morning out...as the sun was shining...and the coffee hit that spot....now need to get that extra bit fit..

its beauty never fails to impress...

a nice morning out...better then sitting around...the edge is getting back...that little spark...

...time to clear the head....Autumn is here alright...and a week of leave...much needed after the last months....the bike is a great tool to forget and have fun...

the cycling bug has been engaged....very good weekend of cycling...
