...anything but sit on the turbo trainer..last spin during this break...will be glad of better weather...the mud is sticky...bike taking the strain.. this bike is great...getting older but great fun ...

my chain set etc are weeping as I type this....trying to keep the gear clean is tricky as...

The mud...the mud of January...intermittent bike riding..2 evening rides in a row...always makes you feel better...no rain or wind today...winter here has been long...

UK has this eternal gloom at the moment...if I see sunshine I will let you all know to book your holidays here..😀..it's a bit grim but the Xmas season has got me out for a few rides around family and work...

No summer up north....time to reset in different ways...grab the bike time when you can...and even the cold afternoons raises a smile or two..

gravel racing and events...the marketing in cycling is great...just think as local riders you possibly know the local roads to ride...

Have to factor in international travel..etc..then the seeding and start time..but the cost is getting higher with entries i feel

Looking at the entry price for the cape town tour for international entry.. About £76 pounds sterling...for the seeding etc....poor location value

Clocks go back...impending Winter ..Autumn sun and colours...the hardtail is invaluable...always happy when out on a bike ride...

The sweet spot of an Autumn morning...but post nights again...going into winter is never my favourite time of the year..grabbing every moment of sunshine..nice bike ride..a joy..

well I won't be partaking of the above tour in the cold days of the northern hemisphere...

Last bike ride until next week...the recent rides have been good...very enjoyable...conquered a little hill before this...spent time trying to escape from a wood...but it's all good...

Another day rolling in the mud...nice to see a few other riders out this am...mtb..gravel and road bikers.. only miserable person was a road biker...rest were happy and smiling.. each to their own..😊

Very good weekends riding...best for a long time...of course we chase the sun..local tracks are nice are grippy..let's keep rolling

Envious these days when I see images of sunshine and bikes...this am was a bonus..avoided the forecasted rain..a great few hours done..great ride ...

A small glimmer of sunshine during the day...day off ride...slippery going..but we keep going....
