DaLoCo Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 (edited) SO, I had to send my "new" carbon frame (thanks Scultura Rider) to Wayne Pfeiffer Cycles in PE for a rebuild from my old Merida Road 901. My ride this morning was on very tired legs, but I still had the same aveage speed. The I was slower on the flat sections, but climbing was definitely better. I am happy!!! Cyclewizz Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Congrats man, many safe & fast miles on her. Use the "holy" saddle, numbnuts are no good. Then as a suggestion, PM Edge_Design and asking for a set of white bottle cages, IMO they'll look better than the wire ones. Otherwise, give it horns !!!!

My old saddle was actually not too bad, but I know the new one will be better, but it will take a few rides for my butt to get used to it. I rode it for 8 odd months and it took me a solid 2 just to get used to the saddle. Very racy, but pretty hard on the bum bones Really glad that you are happy with the ride, really glad, makes me happy knowing that she went to a good home . Will be seeing you next Saturday then for a 'Leg Loosener" before the BIG funride! DaLoCo, I wish you MANY MANY happy miles with your new steed, may she treat you with great results and faster times :thumbup:

Very racy, but pretty hard on the bum bones I-FELT-the-FORCE....Nice new nick Can't wait for the leg loosener....I love riding in new areas The saddle as a whole feels good, but yeah, it did feel a bit harsh on the bones, but not disastrous I must add that I felt a lot more pain when I got on my bike in January after a 9 month layoff I am sure the bum bones will adapt. I did like the fact that there was no numbbuts.... Yup dump the prologo and get the arione. Had numbnuts with the prologo, no probs with my fizik That was the one thing the Prologo did not give me....it just the position of my butt bones, or the fact that I have never had pressure on the specific area of my butt (weight was born by the numbnuts area)
