Thanks for all the tips, but the problem I have at the moment is if it's advisable to train and the only way I'm going to be able to train at the moment is if I don't sit and peddle(ride for a couple of k's standing) or maybe go for a couple of easy jogs just too keep the legs loose?

Or must I just forget about training and hope that the ass holds during the argus!

Jog - Only if you are already a jogger / used to jogging udderwise it might hurt your legs.

Ride Standing - Urm no, jogging will be less painfull.

You wont be able to ride standing for long enough to be any benifet and it will hurt your legs.

Try take a few days off the bike to give the sore time to heal, treat the sore as per doctor or above suggestions. When u start riding again put one of those plaster around the sore or what remains of it.

Maybe try and respostion your saddle slightly (nose left or right a mm or 2) to try and transfer the pressure point somewhere else. Try and wear some different style riding shorts also to try and change the pressure point.

Oh, last remedy to try is the good old dettol and a wire brush.

I dont think anyone will fall for that Dettol part....

Luckily they sell Dettol on planet zug

If you train, try and ride with different make cycling shorts each time, not all the padding are the same and some can be unforgiving on your butt, so if you use the same type of padding it can give you saddle sores, please I say it can help, worked for me
