So what is to happen to the wanted section? - does it have a separate category? / tick option?

It's an option when you create an advert - either offering (for sale) or looking for (wanted).

Wanted ads are displayed with a red "W"

I uploaded my current ad to the new section.

It was painfree!

Not being a techno-head, it means the revamp is well designed.

It's posted already! thumbup1.gif https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/43-scott-scale-40-r7000-meduim/

The new classifieds is completely separate from the forums. So ads created won't appear in the forums at all. We'll leave the 'old' classifieds up in the forums for reference and to let any current ads 'die off' so to speak.

Hope that's answered your question?

Maybe one more small upgrade is to display the sellers HubSA membership characteristics on the advertisement.

I didn't want to clutter the advert page too much by added loads of info. You can view the members profile card without leaving the page which should provide the main membership info you're after.

Just click the small popup icon which appears next to the username: user_popup.png

The home page is all messed up in Chrome. And now I can not insert a picture. Even in full editor I don't have the option. Can only link to one.

I use Chrome and it all looks okay.

Try pressing Ctrl + F5 to ensure the new style sheets are loaded.

Admin - could you make it compulsory to place and add with a image?

Already asked earlier in this thread. My reply:

It's something I did consider, but chose to leave it as optional. In most cases when people don't post a picture it's mainly because they didn't know how or where to. The naming 'Attachments' in the old system was a little vague. I'm hoping that more people will post pics now simply because it's a little easier.

I don't want to stop people from posting an ad because they don't have a pic or can't post it (e.g. don't know how to resize).

I will include a visible note in the Listing page to encourage people to post a pic. As if they don't they will be asked to anyway.. a few times wink.gif

It now works after the 4th or 5th ctrl+F5.
