Honestly, wearing booties if you're not riding in Europe (and in the snow) is like putting chrome spinners on your car. Not cool, unless you're from Mitchell's Plain, in which case I guess it's fine...

LA has only one ball, do you copy cat him? Those covers take on the shape of you shoes. The shape of the bumps and straps are still visible/exposed even if you wear booties.
