Way before my time but interesting indeed.

Worked on the same principles as a hover craft just upside down. Entered 1 race, won it and was subsequently banned!!

Immediately banned! Designed by South African Gordon Murray..

Not the sameprinciple as a hover craft in any way. A hover craf blows to createa large pressure cushion that the vehicle rideson. The Fan in the BT46 sucked very gently to reduce the boundary layer air and hence speed up the airflow under the car.

Not similar in principal. Compare it to a good blow job vs a having someone tryint to inflate you....

It is inevitable ain't it.

Such a tight battle for that championship leader spot.

Boom!

Yip. Was stupid though to chuck it away like that. I do think Rosberg should rather have waited for (that freaking stupid) DRS on lap 2 and pulled off a clean move. There was no need to pull a do it or bin it move so early in a race and championship.

Hamilton is quoted after a team meeting as saying Rosberg admitted it was deliberate and I have seen a quote (no idea if completely accurate) that the team have described what Hamilton said as "Broadly accurate".

If true that is far from a racing incident and good cause for the booing.

Team came out saying Rosberg was misquoted. He kept his line to prove a point not "I drove into Lewis to prove a point".

"Wolff, albeit obviously furious with Rosberg, said the suggestion the German crashed into Hamilton deliberately was "nonsense".

But he confirmed: "Nico felt he needed to hold his line. He needed to make a point."

I'm sticking with pure racing incident on this one. Both of them at fault, both of them could have avoided a collision.

From the onboard video it looks like a racing incident too.

I think Rosberg has been getting it for not having the same "killer" instinct as Hamilton. He needed to prove, if only to himself, that he can also race aggressively.

Now Mercedes talking about team orders, perhaps this will play into the RBR and Ricciardo's hands.

What's that old saying about 2 dags and a bone and the third one walks away with it!!

I don't blame Rosberg because of what happened on previous race... Team order Hamilton to move over for Rosberg, but he ignored order and nearly put Rosberg off the road. So they agreed to take away team order, it made it even worst. Hamilton needs to grow up... You know German/ Swiss guys are hard people and they don't take non-sense. I am hoping Rosberg win Championship this year...

Fully. Rosberg had him on the entry to the turn, and Hamfistilton should have backed off. Instead, he tried to sneak back in to force him wide, on a corner that allows no movement.

hamilton had the corner, its the duty of the car following to avoid. Having an overlap is not an excuse to cause an avoidable collision that advantages you. In this Case Rosberg's intentions are clear. Either way he wins so it was deliberate. Poor sportsmanship
