So Vettel is getting another new chassis and a new race engineer. RBR trying their best to help him solve the problems he's having.

so what's this one going to be called?

Look you don't go from being a dominant world champion to the way he is driving overnight so it has to be something with this years car. Ricciardo is proving it's not the car itself so perhaps a fresh set of eyes and brains is good. Hope it helps him, I am, and will always be a Vettel supporter.

Lazy Lizzy? Or Sloppy Sally (Riciardo's car's ugly sister) ummmmm... maybe someone should tell Seb its not about the bike chassis

Its actually his first NEW chassis. The one he is currently using is a preseason build updated to current spec. This new chassis is the first for him fresh out of the autoclave.

Ricciardo gets his new chassis in Singapore

All of the major mags and websites reporting it's his third after a second new one for Spain.

EDIT: Ah, get what you're getting at with "NEW". With you now. Still...

In other news it seems Button might retire end of the season if Mclaren don't renew his contract and Mercedes and Hamilton have "discontinued" talks until the end of the season.

Hamilton loves burning bridges so don't see that ending well. Teammate beating him and is being paid considerably less too!!

I expect big things from the new Honda engines and as a result, I'm really hoping Alonso leaves Ferrari for the Mclaren Honda team. Its ridiculous that season after season, quite possibly the sports number one driver has to drive an under performing Red Car.

Wez, have to agree. Honda will very likely have learnt (you'd have guessed) from their previous effort that went belly-up in a spectacular way and would have done extensive research before re-entering.

There's been too much talk about Alonso and McLaren for that to be completely empty talk. But that would really leave Ferrari up sheet creek.

Too true! AND Honda have a successful history of making small fast engines, so what can go wrong?

Rumour has in Alonso is Mclaren's number one choice for 2015 with Vettel as a fallback if Alonso doesn't take them up on their offer.

Hamilton to Ferrari..........

Never liked Alonso but I do agree he is super talented. In the right car, on his day, he is pretty close to unbeatable!!

Actually I hear that vettel is the number one choice but he is only available in 2016. Alonso is in prime seat do to earlier availability. Honda are keen to pouch a 4x WDC from their rival brand Infinity.

Ron Dennis not too keen on Alonso despite the press banter to the contrary

They're still at it!

"Nico Rosberg has emerged from a crisis meeting with senior Mercedes F1 team management and Lewis Hamilton apologising to them while admitting that he made an error of judgement in his attempt to overtake his teammate on lap two of the Belgian Grand Prix and has agreed to the rules of engagement as set out by the Silver Arrows bosses."

This is off Grandprix247... Sorry, I agree the blame tips in favour of Rosberg... but FF sake can't we move move on already!!

The fallout has not yet reached epic proportion. That spolied little rich kid will resort to further dirty tricks before seasons end.

Likely he will get a one race ban
