dracs Posted August 25, 2015 Share Was great to see Lotus on the podium, even if due to Vettel's popping tyre*. Really hope this is enough to tip Renault towards buying the team once again as a factory outfit. Failing that I think we could see the end of both Lotus and Renault in any form in F1...  * On the tyre issue, did you see Vettel talking to the press after the race - the boy was not happy and I don't blame him. As he said if this had happened a couple of hundred metres earlier he would not have been standing there to talk about it. Same for Rosberg. And the suggestion by Pirelli that the tyre had too many laps under its belt is a red herring. SeaBee Posted August 25, 2015 Share I see it's not been mentioned yet, but sad to have wokened up to the news of Justin Wilson's passing after an Indycar crash. And that also just after the passing of a legend - Guy Ligier. For those who weren't aware - another car's nosecone hit his helmet. So now (esp having happened in the States) everybody is climbing onto the bandwagon, wanting to enclose cockpits, etc. Personally do not think it's the answer - it will add other dangers.
