MJ the Expat Posted March 28, 2011 Share Joe'sealant - R130Stan's - R220 I went for the Stan's because it states it is NON CORROSIVE...Now I am sure Joe's is too, however, if Stan is willing to put it on his product, I can hold him to it.

Just Keep Pedaling Posted March 29, 2011 Share Ignore Mampara - he is just trying to make 20 000 posts. The Joes/Stans debate is like every other contentious ddebate on the internet - everybody has an opinion / nobody really knows. I have used both - no problem. Sawdust Posted March 30, 2011 Share As of 1st of March I've been running on my own mix for 2 years now. Use it on 3 bikes. No problems so far. Even cheaper than Joes. I've had no corrosion and only 2 punctures which were caused by cuts.

Sawdust Posted April 1, 2011 Share On the older Stans bottles there used to be a patent number. Now google this number and it will take you to Patent Storm. The recipe is on there.

Bummer no more warranty claims on tyres.
KobusBotha66 Posted April 8, 2011 Share You guys should all try No Flats ( I see they are advertsing here now)they also say non corrosive ect check out there website www.noflats.co.za it has a lot of info. I just feel that Joes and Stans have a hold on the market when there are better products with more advantages like No Flats out there. I love it won't use anything else
