I'm very happy I've elliminated: chips, fizzy drinks, take aways (still consume once or twice a month) bread / rolls (still working on whole wheat), cookies, choc, and I'm doing my best to get rid of mayo, ketchup and aromat. I've been successful at regular water intake at around 2-3l per day

Keep up the good work! Remember that all the info you gather here on the Hub is subjective information. This gives you an idea of what could work or if you are on the right track. Always verify it with a professional if it is related to your health or there is a chance it could kill you! ;)

Ok Imma hav to print all this out and come to a conclusion on what to eat.

I followed this for about 3 months religiously, dropped 26kg's after 2 knee ops and a year without exercise (got up to 104kgs!!!). Its too much effort and too expensive to follow permanently, but whenever I need to loose big, its what I go too.

I do try and base my normal eating regime on it though.
