The meeting between the provinces and CSA starts in a few hours time. Please check back here tomorrow in terms of the online licensing :)

It's all 99.9% ready - just need to get this night past us.

Any news???

There's a whole host of news....let's get the licensing behind us, then we can talk about the other happenings....

I see on the form there is a flat rate on Cyclosport license.  So you don't pay extra per discipline.  Big%20smile<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

OK, so I'm being impatient again, but do I wait for the online applications or do I go for the old paper forms?  I would like to do the online thing, but I don't want to miss my first league ride next season because I don't have a licence!  Anyone got some news on this yet???

Sorie for the delay in answering. The licensing system is in hard test mode, the new portal is chomping at the bits to be released, and sign-ff should occur soon (like next week Tuesday). Frustrating times, I am sure for you and I. Paper-based applications are being accepted, for those not willing to wait. All current members will enjoy a 30-day reprieve next year in terms of the showing of licenses. Please check on current cyclingsa.com whether your club's name appears on the download file named: http://www.cyclingsa.com/downloads/provincedetailsnov.xls

Thanks for the feedback Latrinus.

The provincial bodies are not mentioned in the spreadsheet.  I assume they will be listed separately for cyclo-sport licences?

Sorry, to be a pain again, but any progress on this yet?  I have held back for the online licencing and I am now almost too late to get the old paper forms off if I wanted to.  Is it official that we get a reprieve and will the WPCA guys accept it if I turn up at the Cobra to ride with my old licence or do I need to rush off and get my peperwork done asap?  I know he offices close soon and I don't want to be the one stuck in no man's land...

1.    The CSA Cyclo-Sport License <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

A License card will be issued and licence holders will continue to be required to be a member of a club or a member of their provincial body (i.e. CGC, Pedal Power Association).  This licence is multi-disciplinary, i.e. valid for Road, MTB, BMX and Track, where applicable.

Ok, so verstaan ek hierdie

As jy provincials wil ry, of as jy (byv) in die Argus,94.7,Shova,OFM etc..: "VA" of "VB" of "Masters" seeding groepe wil geseed word of wil ry,
