Very nice bike Mr V......thought you were a downhill/trail rider?

What was the issue with the XTR crank?

:ph34r: but it's a YETI?

XTR chainset has issues with chainstay clearance..... oh well, now I just have to find some other frame for the XTR chainset :whistling:

very nice bike, would be great if you could get a black schock

Fox is funny like that!

Black = Talas

White = Float

A Carbon Lefty is black and the only fork worth putting on a show bike.

That cape town air must be messing with your scrooples....

Is that a Suburban in the background behind your sweet bike? Or just short legs? :D

Nice bike that Mr V! My 1*9 Oetzi is 10.87 .... sans FD, 2 chainrings and shifter :eek:

On paper/pre-build calc's it should have been around 10.5kg's.... however the XTR crank issue plus some other oddities pushed me over a bit... that and even though Yeti claims a 1.8kg frame weight, my size Large weighs quite a bit more than that...

SUPER HAPPY with the 142mm rear end and Easton Haven wheels are bomb!!!!

Nice ride V. Can't see too clearly, but are those carbon stays as I am not that familiar with the current Yeti range other than the auper awesome SB 95? Spoke to an owner of an alu Big Top at Modderfontein recently who loved the ride and hated the weight, as his was close to 13kg. Nice colour, never been a fan of green milkshake bikes.

Thanks CAAD4 - the rear triangle is in fact carbon... so it's a 50carbon/50alu mixed frame. It has to be seen in real life to appreciate the engineering and design of it.

Other nice bits include the 142mm thru-axle rear, especially with the Easton Haven wheels - it's super stiff...

I have totally fallen in love with the easton haven range... those there are the haven carbon bars and carbon seatpost.
