My new machine, four days old and infinitely satisfying.

After 4 happy years on a 26" HT I did a lot of research and spent some quality hours testing the BigTop.

For me the change has been a revelation and a brought a significant improvement in many aspects over my old 26".

I think I'm in love!

2012 2 X 10 XT groupset.

2012 Reba RLT.

ZTR Crest stock rims.

Coming from a 26" FS Scott I think it's a fair compromise.

Very impressed with the Niner Geo, the transition between the two bikes was almost instantaneous.

If there is one thing I would change it would be the tires. Going from 2.0 to 2.2 RK's or trying something like a X-king Race King combo, or going the expensive Schwalbe route. But definitely would appreciate a high volume tire. clap.gif

11kg's without pedals keeping in mind it's a large alu frame I think is pretty impressive.

I'm getting my Flash 29er as soon as the shipment arrive!

I see that a lot of you ouens have ZTR Crest wheels? Are you satisfied with them? I weigh 82kg, I'm considering to upgrade the wheels once I get the new bike!

ZTR are awesome value for money.

There is a 75kg limit on the Crest wheelset.

If you want to go the ZTR way, the Arch 29er will be perfect.

Also consider American Classics, weight is also in the 1,600g range. WIth no weight limit issues.
