Skydiving in your sleeping bag?

That's as crazy as those okes camping on the cliffs!

Its paragliding. My harness is a pod harness - streamlined...think of it as 'fast running tyres'...great for most conditions, not so good when things get sticky

Is there a line connected to you in the one pic?

Well spotted. Its a winch line. Here is the dril - my wife ties the rope onto my harness...and then drives the 4x4 about 20 meters out. On my sign she drives like crazy and pull me up like a kite in the air. The winchdrum rolls the line out and I steadily gain height. When Im about 150 meters above the ground I pay attention for a thermal (hot air current) - once I hit a thermal I release and fly away...she has a electron motor and winds the line back in. I do most of my flying like this, and not from a mountain. A good flight would be 100 km xc straight line.

"To sum it all up, if you want to write, if you want to create, you must be the most sublime fool that God ever turned out and sent rambling. You must write every single day of your life. You must write dreadful dumb books and glorious books, and let them wrestle in beautiful fights inside your head, vulgar one moment, brilliant the next. You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfume and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads. I wish for you a wrestling match with your Creative Muse that will last a lifetime. I wish craziness and foolishness and madness upon you. May you live with hysteria, and out of it make fine stories--science fiction or otherwise. Which means, may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world."

— Ray Bradbury
