Ave you knife guys heard of Des horn?

Yes. IMHO the best knife maker in SA and one of the best in the world. Makes very intricate folders of very rare and expensive materials. Would like to own some of his knives but can't afford it as well as cycling. His prices are in line with some seriously fine bicycles. My other issue with his knives is that I'll hesitate to use them - and owning one and just keeping it in a safe doesn't appeal to me. It would be like having a beautiful bike but never riding it.

Yes, but i don't like folders,just use Spyderco for them.His knives are awesome though.

The quality of SA knives are some of the best i have seen.
