I was lucky enough to ride one that Leon Evans (Kevin's dad) built up a few months ago. I was very impressed! Also received a nice review in the new Bicycling mag...

Looking only at frame and fork (derailer hanger and seatclamp?). Do you know of dealers around Cape Town?

I see there is 3 sizes: S, M and L. Normally I ride a MTB 26er with " Top Tube Effective" lenght of 600 mm (that will be a Large on most MTB 26er).

I have noticed that the small momsen has a "Top Tube Effective" lenght of 600. Does it means that I would take a small?

Size SMALL MEDIUM LARGE

(A) Seat Tube Length 420 480 530

(B) Top Tube Effective 600 620 640

© Head Tube Angle 71.5 72 72

(D) Seat Tube Angle 73.5 73 73

(E) Wheelbase 1087 1097 1117

(F) Rear Center 440 440 440

(G) BB Drop 60 60 60

(H) Headtube Length 110 120 130

Recently, when I was shopping around for my Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper 29er frame, almost every bike shop which I mailed, offered me the Momson XTR instead, as they could not supply the Stumpy. Well, my mind was made up already, and despite all the sales talk, special offers and convincing to get the Momsen, I eventually got the Stumpy. A complete built with XTR 2 x 10, Easton Wheels, FSA carbon cockpit, Specialized Fast Trak 2Bliss tyres and Specialized Phenom seat, my bill came in under R50K. I was offered the Momsen for R42K, but I believe they retail for R45K.

I would say yes. And that means that though I ride a 19" with a TT of 585mm, the Momsen S is too big for me. And no, I can not fix it with a shorter stem.

I am waiting for my Momsen AL329 to arrive... going to use it purely as a training/fun/communter bike.... My Anthem X (weight this morning with new cranks 11.2kg  ) is my race bike.

I cant wait to take delivery of my new steed.

Do anybody knows about a dealer around Cape Town?

I think Olympic were assigned a few.

The frames and forks were a limited run, so not too many hanging around.
