Cable Ferrules

I am looking for the cable ferrules / end caps that have the extended rubber thingy at the entry / exit side.

Greg Minnaar Racing in PMB has them... i know that does not help you at all... but still, maybe contact them.

Those are XTR ones and are sold in pairs for about R50. Very overpriced.

The Jagwire Ripcord sealed kits come with awesome ones. CWC got good prices i think?

These rubber ferules do keep the dirt out, but also create a bit of their own resistance (which is what you are trying to prevent). Having said that, cables stay much cleaner with these gizmo's...

Yip, they do actually work well, in my opinion. Ive had two of them on my bike for 2 years now. After ripping out all of my gear cables, the entry points that they protect are the only clean parts...

 

But R200 for 8 of them is a bit steep. It only costs like R100 to replace everything else...
