@ Dangle your pic looks just like something outta "Pans Labyrinth."

 

I kinda expect the tree to move, or speak. Nice shot. I will post a pic of two tree sculptures from the constantia area I saw on a road ride other day. I call 'em "the existence" and "the emergence"

How do you retain the quality while dropping the megs to be able to load it.

 

How do you resize them?

Try to size to 1027X900

The issue of post processing will always be a contentious one.

Bearing in mind that if you shoot in jpeg, the camera already does processing to the image, in raw you are still left to the camera's firmware, even in the days of film, guys were tweaking the processing.

As for the camera's firmware, you will know what I mean when you see images from a Leica D-Lux 5 and a Panasonic LX 5, essentially the same camera, but very different results, due to firmware.

hey dangle. I dont mind the software editing at all. But I like to see the "original" (didnt know about camera firmware etc etc), and compare it to the final. I like some of the visionary aspects that you guys do from the original. To take something and then edit it into something good is very much an art in itself.

 

and of course you learn yourself ....:rolleyes:
