Wyatt Earp Posted May 28, 2011 Share Dangle you have a very good eye as does Swiss VanNice work guys Lekker threadThank mate.Thanks Firewolf, please don't forget to show us those shots, I have lot's of tree images, I am kinda obsessed wit trees  @ SlowbeeThe issue of post processing will always be a contentious one.Bearing in mind that if you shoot in jpeg, the camera already does processing to the image, in raw you are still left to the camera's firmware, even in the days of film, guys were tweaking the processing.As for the camera's firmware, you will know what I mean when you see images from a Leica D-Lux 5 and a Panasonic LX 5, essentially the same camera, but very different results, due to firmware. Slowbee Posted May 28, 2011 Share hey dangle. I dont mind the software editing at all. But I like to see the "original" (didnt know about camera firmware etc etc), and compare it to the final. I like some of the visionary aspects that you guys do from the original. To take something and then edit it into something good is very much an art in itself. Â and of course you learn yourself ....
