Indonesia Cycling Shops Scammers or NOT?

Hi Guys

Im looking at bringing in some bikes from Indonesia and was wondering if anyone has ever dealt with Adira sport in Medan Indonesia? The bike prices seems to good to be true but if anyone has dealt with them please give me reviews on service and product quality. If I get good reviews from the guys that has dealt with them before the hubbers will be in for some good prices on Giant, Specialized and Cannondale bikes.

Thank you for your reviews.

That's the thing mojo! I did a bit of research regarding the company and I'm getting mixed reviews from buyers! Personally the website and response looks really legit! The response time and everything is good and the company has a broadbase of advertising on the net and uses a few sites to market as well as sell products. What would be the best way to find out if the company is a legitimate registered company and not a Scam?

Scam... Anyone selling big brand names at giveaway prices are scams (otherwise don't you think someone would have done it long before you?)

There's always a first for everything! Would anyone be able to do a international company ITC search?

Unless you're prepared to get on a plane and go to Indonesia to meet your new business partners, stay the hell away. You are in for an assraping, and nobody enjoys that. Well, nobody +1.

Indonesia is to the cycling industry what Nigeria is to International banking... Nobody can sell those.

Top end Italian bikes sell to the global distributors at around €2000 - €2500, from the official factories/manufacturers/designers/marketing peeps. How doyou think they can sell those same bikes at USD1500?

You are welcome to try them, but don't cry if you lose...

Cervelo is being sarcastic do0d - it's a RIP! No one sells Cannondales on line to the international community, distribution is tightly controlled.

It's a scam (IMHO)

The sizing is normally all wrong - 54,56,58 MTBs!

They only take EFTs, no credit cards, so no recourse from your bank.

Don't do it!

Okay – normally those things are a total con!!! But at my cycling club there are two guys (father & son) who bought some top end bikes from somewhere in Asia (I think it was Indonesia). I know those two fairly well (not a story of – a cousins friend’s ex-girlfriend’s boss told them …).

They got totally scammed and lost money.

But wait there is more – then they decided to do it again but took a different approach. And it worked!

Now they have two top end bikes with top components. The bikes are total eye-candy and cycling-porn!!!!

Personally - i think you should stay away from this offer.
