WayneO Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Hi Guys, I generally ride three afternoons a week, Mon, Wed and Thurs afternoons on my Mtb leaving at 16h00 and ride for approx 1h20 for a 29km route. However I find that I am not always able to get home in time from work to do this ride. I was wondering if there is anyone that would be interested / knows of people that ride in the morning from roughly 5am to 6h30am? I am mostly a Mtb'er but am willing to dust off the road bike.

I had a few hubbers in the areas details before but never contacted them - Trelawney and Dubber88 might want to join. Mtb_josh ?

Great WW, I currently do my afternoon rides with Trelawney, but he is not too keen on the Morning thing. I think he is going soft.

Whereabouts in pta east do you start and where do you ride?
Trelawney Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Great WW, I currently do my afternoon rides with Trelawney, but he is not too keen on the Morning thing. I think he is going soft. Watchit young man ... I'll keep my early morning photons to myself next time !! Now I have my new winter gloves I am fully tough again :-)

Much less at the speed of a road bike! Let me know again when its summer Afternoons - maybe. It all depends on my classes and tests (i.e no riding for the next 2 weeks )
Weight Weenie Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Yeah theres a coldfront coming which isnt ideal but hell I bought belaclavas, booties, lights etc. so why not give it a bash. I do have time in the afternoons but tend to not get to riding, traffic also becomes a bit heavy
