I got a maxxis ardent 2.4 super tacky in december. Put it on the back. By march it was semi slick and now all the side knobs have broken off. But superb grip while it lasted

flowta? how is that ardent.I recently purchased a casing from Action Cycling. Meant to replace the tired minion on the rear of my XC bike. What's your experiences with it?

 

So far it has been great. A little heavy as it is a DH 2 Ply with wirebead. Set it up tubeless with no problem.

 

Nice big volume tyre, not like the older Maxxis tyres it is a real 2.4

 

 

aah ok. thanks for the feedback. Would have preferred it on the front wheel so i can really gauge how it performs, but I dont have a spare front wheel.

thats easy - 2.35 Minion F ... (even though its a "front" tyre its teh best back tyre out there... thats why all the pros use it front and back!)
