MTBer wannabee Posted August 5, 2011 Share This is not a full on rant but more of an enquiry as i am genuinly interested.I am pretty much expecting that when I arrive at a race this weekend, they will not have my t-shirt size as i am taking part in one of the last races of the day. If you are not an early bird and get there an hour befor the first batch, all the medium t-shirts are generally all taken up.This also happened at the two oceans a few years back when i registered late in the afternoon to avoid the rush and had a choice of XXL or XXL. Fortunately, they reprinted shirts and posted them to us a few months later. (good on them) So my real question is, is it a logisical issue to simply add a tick box on the online entry for what size shirt you are? Then when you arrive (no matter what time) they have your shirt size? Is it that they print the shirts so far in advance that they have to guess and hope for the best. I would rather have a shirt that fits than a medal at the end. I'm just saying If this has been discussed befor then please send the link, i did a search and did not get very far.
