I actually did the race and saw what Full Dynamix went through with their tyres. What the TV coverage did not show was the top teams just whisling past and Full dynamix having to rely on assistance from the average Joe's and past masters. Now there is no rule that say that the racing teams need to stop to assist each other, but the word was that some of the top teams actually used this incident and attacked a team in trouble.

We all have an opinion on attacking while another rider is having technical difficulty, and we have all seen the top international cyclists throw their bikes around after having someone taking advantage like this.

It will never be justified, but after having to race for 90 minutes at full gas to try and salvage the race, and having to do this on the rim over some seriously technical descents may push any of us over the emotional edge.

I think it was bad taste of Super Cycling to show the footage without telling the true story as well.

Many cyclists dont realise when they wear their sponsors kit, they become ambassadors.

It's like at the TOSA, and at the end of the one stage, they interviewed that fouchebag dude. If I was his sponsor, I would have had a **** at hearing him.

If I sponsored a team, part of the rider training would be a day or two with a presentation specialist or something.

OMG.

I'm shocked.

The high and mighty mountain bikers actually raced for a win?

FFS! How dare they. And how dare a TV producer decide what will be good footage to air and what wont. I'm shocked.

So what would a good first post be? What is open ended about it? I don't know the guy from a bar of soap - nothing personal. Just an observation.

How about an intro "I'm hardegat and have a cycling addiction" ;) ... Open ended as in exactly what it means, no particulars, just a rant.

Nothing personal either, just an observation from my end as well.

You'll also notice I did agree with you as well though and Dangle's is 100% correct about the ambassador bit.

IF it was Shan Wilson though it would be incredibly surprising, not like him at all. One of the most approachable and friendly people around. Also annoyingly as hard as nails, beating people half his age (Not literally).

nothing wrong with slowing down and throwing a tube / CO2 canister out. Not trying to justify or ridicule the racing ethos of certain teams here, just saying that there was more to the story.

Why are no one focussing on the good news on Super Cycling tonight? Sani2C is finally a first come first served event. Now there is something to discuss, but I guess there is very little there to try and pick a fight on. Now go play with your dolls and leave the men to discuss things like adults.

PS: Sarcasm is often mistaken for witt. If there was a prize for tjop of the month, you'd be right up there for the honours.

A ) I almost completely disagree with the so called racing ethos of mountain bikers.

B ) I habitually refuse to watch stoooper cycling, and have made that abundantly clear.

C ) Leave the "men" to discuss things? Calling my maturity into question? Why? Because you are threatened by someone else's opinion and viewpoint? Keep the discourse up here, why don't you?

D ) I purposefully declared it was a sarcastic remark, so I'm not one hundred percent sure where you are going with this.

(I'll leave the personal attacks for another reply ;) )

I've noted how you troll all the threads on here. With 16 000 posts, you should know better, or maybe that's just it. Get a life dude.

Not knocking your opinion, but the fashion in which you air it.

The rider made a serious ass of himself on TV and will be the butt end of jokes by riders for some time. My 12yr old daughter a keen mtber noticed his poor behaviour and I'm sure his FD sponsor will have a chat to him.

Top riders can get carried away, at a recent race a "top female rider" who could not be bothered to carry her own tube threw the tube I offered her back, cause it did not have slime in it. She was promptly left stranded by the joe average riders who were trying to help her.

Guess you're the one that needs to get a life then? Don't spend so much time following me, you might do better.

I look to the left scroll bar and all I see is TNT on every post. Hard to miss - oh yes  a smiley face to show that I'm not angry with you. Seems like you're the one doing most of the following around on thehub.

See what you've started Hardegat, the yobbos are taking over. It's London riots all over The Hub now! ....

Go deflate your tyres and say three hail Burrys.

Sorry for the hijack everyone. Suppose I'll just be ignoring our troll from now on.

I also did that race. Some of us are riding for fun (because we are slow) and some are competitors like team Full Dynamix. While the rest of us better be smiling and enjoying just riding I don't mind someone at the top of his game blowing his top in the heat of the moment. He had a super tough day out there. It is certainly not something to judge someone by.

Bad taste of super cycling? The riders were the leaders in the race, of course the cameras will be on them. They mentioned the bad luck with his tyre and everyone could see he finished the race on the rim. But every rider has experienced bad luck in some race-some even had to abandon.

Acting like a baby because of it (perhaps poor tyre choices) in the race  Poor little girl watching a 'vloer moer' from an adult.

You could see he hurt his hand badly by the way he shook it afterward. Not a clever move in hindsight.
