I'm thinking of upgrading my crankset (Ultegra) to either Dura Ace or to a FSA carbon crankset.

Does anybody have an opinions on recent model FSA cranksets? I notice that roadbikereview is often not very complimentary, however this seems to be for older models.

Don?t go FSA  bought a MegaExo carbon crank 170mm done less than 10000km the link in between left arm & crank becomes easily with a lot of play Angry<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Rode the FSA SLK cranks.  Not bad.  Nothing wrong with them.

I think Dura Ace is lighter though.

Stiffness.....Dilbert?  Wa jy??

Gut says DA.

As for cosmetics.....If you like the carbon look, then FSA is your toy......Alu = DA.

So the real question is.......

What would Lassie choose?

Great, thanks for the responses guys. Not really fussed about cosmetics. Would rather have something that works!

Does anybody know if Shimano will bring out a compact DA set?
