I appreciate any contribution, thank you! I don't have a drop off in Durbs yet, you can hang on to the parts until I have arranged a drop off point or you can post them to me. Let me know.

Thanks again!

I'll put them in the post for you. PM me your address.

Great project!

When you get a drop off point in CT let me know I have an old road bike to donate.

Cheers,

Awesome, will do.

I have been inundated with responses to this initiative! Thanks again to all contributors!

Last Friday Ernesto from Lonehill donated a KHS MTB (pictured below), a bike rack so that I can transport my Build-a-Bikes, and a bunch of parts: cassette, BB, mtb spd shoes, chainrings, gripshifts, v-brake levers, pedals, a saddle and other small bits and bobs.

Gracias por tu amabilidad!

Picking up 2 more bikes this week.

Going to have to start donating these bikes to people that need them. Any nominations for either a commuter or aspiring MTB or road racer?

To raise money for charities and to fund some of the details necessary in this Build-a-Bike initiative, I am going to build up a very special bike and put it up for auction.

What kind of bike would you guys like to see built up to be auctioned off?

(I was personaly thinking of a nice fixie, single speed or track-type bike)
