slowlady Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 How does these 2 races compare? I see Silverstar has the highest number of entries. Risk of congestion?
AndreZA Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Last year's Silverstar was really good. If they keep the route then there is almost no congestion as you start the race with a km long tarred climb.
RocknRolla Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Last year's Silverstar was really good. If they keep the route then there is almost no congestion as you start the race with a km long tarred climb. i assume these races are MTB?
MtbBarbie Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I've never done the Bulldog. Did the Silverstar last year and it's an awesome race! Takes you through Kingskloof - which is super technical! I believe the Bulldog race is a fast and flat one! So it depends what you're looking for?
Gareth1982 Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Accourding to the website they are using the same rout as last year.
slowlady Posted September 6, 2011 Author Posted September 6, 2011 Thanks for the replies. I will give Silverstar a shot. Closer to home as well
Jules Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Thug and I were debating this today. We decided to save the rand, and do Bulldog. Silverstar is nearly three times more expensive than Bulldog. R3.50/km vs R1.33.
