Good advice. A unique colorful towel helps.

 

Also, for T1 if the water is cold I find it helpful to kick more aggressively the last 25m of the swim to get some blood into the legs for the bike.

 

For T2, I cycle high cadence the last couple of meters to get my legs ready for running.

 

Drink beer afterwards - you deserve it!

Hehe,I have very unique colorful running shoes and that did not stop some other dude from taking them for a run at my last duathlon!!Imagine coming in from a good bike ready to go and no shoes...had to wait at the finish for the guy to inform him he had the wrong shoes on!! :angry:

Guys please remember there are no late entries on the day no more if you dont enter on the bsg website no race for you!

 

I know entries are closed already - if anyone maybe knows of someone that has entered and can't make it on Sunday please let me know. Friend of mine was a little slow and now sits without an entry for Sunday.(if it is possible)

 

On other note - it is my 1st BSG super excited.

So I finished it in 1 hour 16 , which i thought was not bad for the first time!

 

My running sucked tho!

 

Still cant understand why they start the men at the back and we have to swim through every one!

 

But what a great cardio workout!

 

I have entered for this Sundays one at The Islands Estate.
