Of course it was also combined with a change in tyre choice from 2.1 to 2.25. Running low pressure on wide tubeless tyres has to be experienced to be really appreciated. It made such a difference to my riding that I now have a sense of what it must be like to ride on EPO for the first time .   I'm starting to get seriously 'naar' - I do all the things that everyone says will give you instant speed and better technical and alles (29r, tjoopless, no bar ends, obey the 'Angus rules', 32I, Futureproof cereal blah blah blah) and the only time I go faster is when I train harder, why just me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Iwan Kemp Posted November 8, 2011 Share Off topic a bit (and yes, there is a search option, but I don't think this exact question has been asked) HR & Minion Super Tackies, non tubeless, wire bead. Tubeless-able? Oh - and XC bike is normally 30 at the rear. At the front, I've got a piddly little 1.95 tubed tyre for now, until I get my rim fixed (using my wife's wheel) and that has to be super hard as it has NO volume... Yeah, it's been done.
