It would be good if the Aussies can put together a big total and put the Brits under some pressure. Wouldn't mind Oz winning this test and add some fire to the competition.

Agree, Michael'

What's the pitch like?

Should be almost dry and abrasive. There was a bit of green grass on it before the test. But I think the poms mowed it clean to improve the chance of reverse swing.

Thanx deanbean

The Aussies will never lie down.

Good comeback by Aus, seems that enforcing the follow on would be been better; 20/20 hindsight is so easy !

Eish, them Aussies. They have fired the Saffa coach, but it looks like he was not the problem.

Imo their combo of world beaters - Langer, Hayden, Ponting, Waughs, Hussey, Gilchrist, Warne, McGrath wont be matched for a long time, perhaps not ever. Current squad cant hope to match that.

Very disappointing series, glad I didn't watch much of it .... Found the ashes more interesting :-)

I've made a point not to waste any more time and energy supporting our one day team, they always disappoint.

Got to be concerning that there's no bowlers in the line-up that would particularly bother a decent batsman.

Some of that Sri Lankan spin tonight was audacious.

ASHES

Hope the Aussies can make a fight of it after being 2-0 down after two Tests.

Otherwise, the series will be one big yawn
