Hi Guys, sorry for "bombing" this topic post , but I'm very interested in knowing what products in general most of you like buying online (because of convenience or pricing) and what we could ad to our site that could drive some sales (and happy clients) to our store ?

depends on what you are buying and another question is if you are an overseas buyer why are they charging you sales tax ?

if its clothes etc about 65% incl customs and vat (here)

if its bike parts bits etc  no customs only vat at 14% and a surcharge which can be about R100

it really depends on what you are buying

Yea nice stuff at a premium, but you got to wait for it,nothing is actually in stock in SA

Maybe I've just been lucky then ordered twice before and delivery was by me in 3 working days both times.

www.bike24.com has great prices and and a massive array of gear.

Im however in Malawi, and want to send a couple of things over. I see they use DHL, has anybody used their service that sends items directly to the DHL office in your country and you collect from there?

Anyone dealt with Merlin Cycles www.merlincycles.com ?

Yes a couple of times and always had a positive experience. With their courier service orders always arrived within 4 to 5 days.
