So in other words - cheat as much as you want, dope and go mad...as long as you get away with it on the day nobody actually cares after the podium ceremony.

Dude, nobody doped or was found guilty of doping so why use that example?! If I understand correctly, nothing that was done, or "cheated" like you call it, resulted on any time gained.

You couldn't win them on the road, so you beat them off it. Well done!

Sorry, I had to reply...

I'm with Tarmac on this one, cheating is cheating. No matter how its done.

Anyone saw the highlights package of this event on Supercycling?

Was quite good.

I wasn't there and it was good to get a view.

MNET's super sport 2 channel was showing some random game of a dude throwing a ball at another dude and he had to hit it and not let it hit the wickets. I really wanted to watch it....

Edit: the DC coverage that is.

There are several other repeats on this week.

Check supersport's TV transmissions for 'cycling'.

It was on SS6, due to the ball-throwing. But rebroadcasts every now and then.

Dale, it may have given you a glimpse, but not a proper look. The broadcast did little to convey the true spirit of the race - the guys not going for the win and their comaraderie... Sticking together and talking each other through the crahp times. They should've had cameras on those last three bumps into Swellendam when the common pleps crawled up there... Crowd support was awesome, they really added the extra cadence when you needed it - you hardly saw that.

Neither did it convey the wind properly.
