Ah Sven the caveman, jeez man he was chasing myself and Brett (tnose_e) in the morning to gain laps on us but it seemed he got a 'flat' as he pulled up with a bit of a limp ....

Thanks for the encpuragement and chirps mate!

Pleasure, bud! You did bloody well! Much respect!

That can only be the guys from the Zoutpansberg. There were three in the team with Air Horns .

Ah, okay! At first it annoyed me as I couldn't get to sleep, but like anything you get used to it, and I eventually got to sleep properly at about 4. Only to be woken by a phone call an hour later.

Wendel the hedgehogs which came out in the dark were a problem. I rode over one and couldnt repair the puncture- Just kidding. Thanks for the awesome event, what a way to spend a weekend.

Thanks also to the okes from Germiston Wheelers 2. Their wheelie instructions were epic.

Those Air horns are a great way of communicating on a MTB. On Wednesday night there were three of us with them in Roodeval Forest, and it helped keep the group intact and on the right track.

Danger dassie reported seeing what he thought was a "dassie" on the route. Now we know what it really was!

Danger Dassie is a lap-hog, not a hedge hog!

Twice he rode past me at the transition zone, saying "1 more lap", before our switch... hahaha!

Total amount of kays covered: 22 496.

How was that looney rising barefoot? :o

He was standing next to me when we started and i was going to ask him if he forgot his shoes.

There was also a guy in TCS kit who was on some contraption with racing bars and a bike carrier.

He apparently had a accident and had major operations, and since then cant wear shoes.

You might have noticed his funny riding style, just shows you his determination to cycling. To the guy with no shoes , well done.

Those airports were a damn good way of letting our team mates know we were close and to get ready .

That's interesting! His style didn't seem to cramp his speed though!

Hahahahaha! I guess I got to know when you guys should be ready too!

Well done to Wendell for putting on a good event.

@ BigBen......Fissan paste and lots of it!

I am busy dictating (still cant feel my hands) a stern letter to Fizik about how their gobi has a shelf life and turns into barbed wire after a prolonged period of use.

Thanks for everyone's encouragement.
