Kicking is largely ineffectual. Wing mirrors are in fact removable items when you apply force correctly.

Please tell me more, I have a few drivers(Edit: on my route) that by the looks of it, dont use theirs so I might as well remove it for them....

I'm sorry but you're commuting, on your own, in a car, hardly a standpoint that deserves any respect from anyone, let alone a cyclist.

Also, you show me a cyclist who hasn't shot a red robot, i'll show you a liar.

excuse me ?

you dont know me, dont challenge me on any respect you have for me

This is beyond running a red light. Is there a valid reason for kicking someone's property and making a runner?? That is the issue not any of the other reasons, explanations, excuses some of you are inventing, leading up to this behaviour. Punk @ss move from the bike chap!

I commute 2-3 times a week with my car, on my own. Sometimes more.

More often than not with the bike on the back ... is that ok with you? Can I still do so guilt free?

Everybody lies.

Just leave them be. Anybody that jumps a light in a car or a bike deserves exactly what they get. Let's just hope they are carrying their organ donor card...

Boy - it seems like Steers is doing Wacky Tuesdays for the Trolls. Go get your buy one get one free and don't ask thehub to feed you.

<lite trollfeeder on> We all shoot through lights from time to time, but if a motorist challenge you on this, don't try and justify it. Simply apologise and carry on with your ride. You will definately not enjoy your ride if you scream and shout at a motorist and end up damaging his property. <lite trollfeeder off>

Whats that got to do with anything?

On a lighter note: I've kicked a car door once, but it was in self defence. The tjop was parked on the wrong side of the road and his passanger decided to open his door as a group of us approached. There were cars on the right, and braking would have meant removing a rider's helmet from my arse, so I simply unclipped and put my foot out. Its amazing how much damage a SPD cleat can cause when it hits a stationary object at about 30km/h.

Maybe:

Because their drivers rarely seem to use them...?

Darwin had it 100% right and humans have been cocking it up ever since. We now spend massive amounts to make depressed people live, make sick people better, make old people live longer, and on more warning labels for idiots who would otherwise turn litigious. Little wonder we're so f-ed.

I assume then that if a loved one takes ill, or becomes depressed, you'd be happy to sit by and adhere to Darwin's "fittest will survive" ideas then? Sure, on one hand the planet is hugely overpopulated because of many factors, one of them being modern medicine, but I pray for your sake you never are faced with the decision to switch someone off, or watch a friend die of cancer.

You both missed my point. <_<

It's the "allowing to breed" gene pool that is a problem. Not medical science and it's ability to advance and heal people.

Although the Specialists of this world do take the "prolonging" to a bit of an extreme.

I do believe however that this often has more to do with finances than with a hippocratic oath.

Careful - it's a long way down off that high horse...
