Alarm system I hope as well as camera's?

Some concrete poles around the shop will do wonders as well. Isn't there a perimeter fence that can be locked?

Good luck. Sure if you post a pick people will look out for it.

Thanks for all the support. Yes we do have insurance but not close too what is gone and damaged. Over and above the bikes that's gone the following frames are damaged or scratched.

1. 1 x Paris - badly scratched.

2. 1 x Quatro - frame smashed due to bakkie going over it.

3. 1 x Dogma - frame damaged and carbon cracked due to bakkie bumping against it.

The reason why the back gate was not locked is that there was 1 car left in the parking bays . We think he was training on the MTB course. We closed earlier at 16h00 and this happened around 17h00

We will keep you posted with information and once again thanks for all the support and calls.

Well Mr CWC just imagine you are the guy that bought the carbon rims for 22k at your shop

then one week later you discount them by 9k, how would you feel.

that that happened was just one guys feelings towards how bike shops are fking the cycling community.

Sure enough, things goes on sale, but dropping a price 9k, leaves us thinking wot its real value is.

So yes Yaaaay to the isuzu driver...Di it again dude!!!!

wahahahaha! you got screwed out of 22K for a set of wheels

Just remember, CWC doesn't carry manufacturers guarantee (I type under correction), so if you happen to crash them, it's your loss whereas if you pay the 22K, it has crash cover and replacement (depending on sale agreement, etc).

Not a cool attitude you got there - it's like me saying to you 'hope you meet the rear end of a truck and live the rest of your life paralysed' = not cool (I know of a guy this happened to).

Real value or real cost? Buy your equipment at cost price then from the manufacturer if you can. Profit is not a sin.

Your comments show your ignorance about running and owning a retail business (or any other business) and the risks involved. Monthly rental (usually linked to a long-term lease) with large guarantees, monthly overheads, stock worth millions, etc., etc..

Please exclude me from your "us thinking wot its real value is." wink.gif

Dude, it's called life.

Once I waited an extra week to buy a set of wheels and they went up in price by 1k.

But hey, I knew it was my mistake.

Then once I bought a set of Look Keo 2 Max pedals from CWC along with some new SiDi's.

The next week the Look Aero Blade pedal thingy (the top one) was being sold for the same price I got mine for.

But hey, I knew if I'd waited long enough for the pedals I would have found a great deal.

So, if you have enough cash to spend R22k on a wheelset, well, it doesn't matter, but hey, it was your mistake.

Maybe they had 2 of the wheelsets left, hadn't sold one in 6 months, so when you came along and bought the most expensive wheels in the shop that nobody else would dare buy, they decided to get rid of the rest of their stock quickly.

You can't be angry at them because of the timing of your purchase.
