What's with the weather in JHB?

I thought it was supposed to be summer

 

It was 10 deg at 5 am and with the wind chill it felt like 0 deg. Couldn't wait to get to the coffee stop to warm up.

Even here in Rustenburg there has been a noticeable drop in temperature over the last hour. Actualy quite chilly now.

It's not only in JHB.  Here in PTA as well.  I hop it clears a bit later...
